Parish Council VE Day Commemoration Mugs

Posted: Sat, 02 May 2020 18:21 by Celia Bunston

VE Day

As you will know due to the Coronavirus outbreak all VE Day events that were planned in Ticknall have been cancelled. The Parish Council has 100 VE Day mugs that have been pre-ordered, which we planned to sell at the May Day Fete. The mugs are £5 each and any money raised will go to the British Forces charities. Please contact David Meredith on greswood23@btinternet.co , or on 862304 if you want to buy one, or you can purchase one at Scoff & Shop.Although the VE Day commemorations have been cancelled, the Parish Council wants to acknowledge those veterans who took part inWW2, and those from Ticknall who sadly lost their lives.
