Scoff & Shop

Scoff and Shop are increasing their range of essential groceries to help the village through the next few weeks.

They are also offering to deliver groceries to anyone that needs help. The contact number is 01332 865023.

In order to concentrate their efforts on food supply they have closed the cafe for the time being.

The Great British Spring Clean - POSTPONED

The Great British Spring Clean will be held in Swadlincote Town Centre on 25th March 2020 between the hours of 10.00am to 12.30pm. Volunteers needed.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED. IT IS HOPED THAT IT WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN 11th and 27th SEPTEMBER 2020.

Compensation Grants for flooding damage

DEFRA confirmed last week that relevant residents in South Derbyshire will qualify for the grant.

Poppy Appeal

Gill Holt has asked us to report that the Poppy Appeal Collection in November came to a grand total of £606.09, which is tremendous. The house to house collection came to £349.27 and a collection made in the pubs and the shop came to £256.82.
