Covid-19 Information

South Derbyshire has the highest increase in confirmed Covid-19 cases in Derbyshire, and is above the national average. Testing is available in Derby city, in North West Leicestershire and in Swadlincote. It was advised to phone 119 if you have symptoms, including:

a high temperature, a continuous cough and lost of taste and smell, and get a test.

Poppy Appeal

Unfortunately poppies will not be sold door to door this year due to coronavirus. In Ticknall collection boxes will be provided for donations to the poppy appeal in the pubs and in Scoff & Shop. Also, you can drop off a donation to Gill Holt at her home. Please contact Gill on 863493.

Funding Available

County Councillor Linda Chilton has some a funding left in her Leadership Scheme, so if any Group that is struggling at this time please let her know on linda.chilton@derbyshire.gov.uk The funding requirement is that whatever the project/need is, it has to be for the benefit of the community.
